Laura Daly

is the Coordinator and Speaker for the Pittsburgh Essential Speakers program, is a native Pittsburgher, graduated with a BS in Psychology/Business from Penn State.  In her more 'youthful' days, she trained at the US Olympic Training Center in CO, had made the USA World Archery Team, National Team and was Archery's Athlete Rep to the USOC.  Laura now works PT in the family manufacturing rep business, she and her husband raised 2 daughters now in college, and she enjoys a good round of golf every once in awhile! Laura is all about spreading the Healthy Relationship message to every teen in Allegheny county!

Dan Mularski

Dr. Dan Mularski guides students to be smart about higher education and has worked with teens for over 40 years in both volunteer and professional capacities. Helping youth with the challenges of building healthy relationships and living lives that matter must be intentional. Dan is committed to equipping them to make wise choices to write a story of success about their future.

Jessica Patterson

Jessica has been a part of Women's Choice Network since 2011.  She has worked in our centers as a client advocate and comes alongside our clients to help them map out positive plans for their futures in the midst of difficult circumstances.  She joined the Pittsburgh Essential Speakers team in 2015 and welcomes the opportunity to bring a fresh message to students about relationships.  Jessica is a native Pittsburgher, and she and her husband are raising their 2 children.   She and her family enjoy spending time at their camp in Pymatuning State Park and hanging out in the backyard or going out for Mexican food!

Jen Branson

Jen graduated from Geneva College with a BS in Psychology.  She has spent the last 20 years in the social service field. She has worked at a teen parent program, helped start a group home, was a caseworker for youth in foster care, directed a pregnancy center, and currently is a substitute teacher for Pittsburgh Public Schools.  One of her proudest moments was getting inducted into Springfield Local High School Athletic Hall of Fame. Ever since she attended the training for Pittsburgh Essential Speakers, she has been a big advocate and passionate to get the message out to all students.  Jen enjoys playing pranks on her family, cheering for her kids at their sporting events and coaching slow pitch softball.

Bruce Grover

Bruce is a native of Pittsburgh and loves living and volunteering in this city! He's married with 3 adult children, 2 grandchildren and is a 2015 retiree from the Port Authority of Allegheny County, where he worked for nearly 27 years.  For the last 17 years, he was the Director of Service Delivery for the East Liberty and Ross Divisions.  Personally, Bruce is involved with his church, where he is an active volunteer, and you should know, he loves to sing!

Brooke Farrell

Brooke is originally from Butler, lives in Mars, and is graduate of Geneva College in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations. She enjoys time with her two small kiddos and husband, and enjoys her side business of impersonating the Disney character, Elsa, from "Frozen" at birthday parties!  You will regularly find Brooke with her nose in a book or laughing with her four sisters.

Amy Beck

Amy Beck is a native Pittsburgher loves her city and the youth in it. You will spot her around town every weekend. She's a wife and mother of two young women. While raising her girls, she worked at Womens Choice Network establishing several offices and training staff. As she met with many young women and men, she developed a passion to speak to youth beforehand, with the hope they never enter the medical centers. 

Sammie Franks

Sammie graduated from Robert Morris University in 2017 with a background in biology and psychology. She currently works for a nonprofit focused on education and outreach to women dealing with crisis pregnancies. In her spare time, she enjoys running and  working with high school and college students to develop their passions and empower their futures. Fun facts about her:  1) She's an identical twin, 2) Enjoys blogging and makes it a goal to read at least 10 books a year, with the dream of one day becoming an author, and 3) Her favorite things in the world are iced coffee (yes, even in the winter) and peanut butter!
